「中延ねぶた祭り」は1992年に初開催されて以降、回数を重ねるごとに来場者は1万人規模となり、演者・運営参加してくださる方は、総勢約250人！都内最大級のねぶた祭りとなっております。

In this September, we are holding a traditional Nebuta Matsuri in collaboration with people from abroad.
Nebuta Matsuri, the well-known summer festival of Aomori, is one of the most spectacular festivals in Japan. It is famous for its gigantic floats called “nebuta”, on which the images of historical figures or kabuki actors are carried. Nebuta parade through the town, followed by local performers called “haneto” dancing to traditional Japanese music.
If you are interested in Nebuta Matsuri, this is a good chance to be a part of it; You can have first-hand experience of being a haneto dancer, and also steering the nebuta.
Why don’t you come along and enjoy the festival? You’ll be welcome no matter which gender, age or nationality you belong to. We are waiting for your joining Nakanobu Nebuta Matsuri on 15 September. Please feel free to join us!
